On Wednesday at 1844 the company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident with reported rescue. Deputy Chief 73 (Barr) arrived to find a single vehicle down the embankment with one person out of the vehicle and one still inside. Crews from Engine 7 and Engine 73 (72) utilized their battery operated HURST Tools to remove the driver’s door. While that was going on E7’s driver and the crew from Truck 72 set up a hauling system to assist with getting the patient back up to the road. The patient was transported to the landing zone for Trooper 1 via Paramedic 793.
